Movin’ On Up

Sorry for the delay in getting this out to you guys, but I thought it would be funny to wake up two hours early every day last week to see how Mommy and Daddy handle it. Have to keep them on their toes you know.

I’m sure this isn’t breaking news anymore, but a couple weekends ago was the grand unveiling on Auntie Kristin’s new apartment. Firstly, I have to say that I didn’t think it was nearly as far away as everybody else thought it was. Here’s a tip for you guys… if you sleep the entire way, you’ll be there before you know it. First impressions of the building were good; it looked quite a bit newer than the old and the immediate are was nice as well. Having the river right there has got to be a nice little perk. Getting into the building was another story. Another helpful tip: strollers don’t fit through those round door that spin around… You need to use a regular one. And, in case you didn’t know it, strollers take up quite a bit of space in an elevator!

Anyway, after the circus that brought me there figured out how to park, get in the building and then up to the proper floor, things were pretty nice. I know Daddy was liking the styling of the place (he likes more modern looking things). The view out those big windows was nicer than the old one… I’ll take the river and skyline over a street and sidewalk any day. I won’t go into too much detail considering the forum I’m on here, but I think it’s an upgrade from the previous.

The immediate area was pretty quiet too. Likely because it was a Sunday afternoon, but I’ll take it. We were able to go for a nice and breezy stroll along the river and check out a few sights, including a few expensive cars parked out front.

Check out a few pictures provided to me from Mommy from the day.
