Happy Birthday to Grandma and Opa!
You may have seen Grandma’s brief mention just before, and Opa’s birthday is coming up in a few more days. Yesterday we took a ride over to Opa’s place to have some “birthday lunch” with them.
Things were pretty low key, but that’s they way they like it over there. We had a simple lunch, sandwiches and such, and them some cake and coffee afterwards. No coffee for me yet and I didn’t really care for the cake (everybody else seemed to like it though).
Hats off to Mommy for making sure to bring back some local treats for presents from her travels across the country. That was a good idea.
We had a good time playing together; it was also fun to have Opa down on the floor with me and everything. I don’t get to see those guys too often, but I always enjoy it.
