I get asked all the time about the things that I’ve been up to lately. Even Mommy and Daddy get asked too. The help things along, and to illustrate a little bit, here are a few of the major things that I’ve been doing on this President’s Day weekend, on top of working on learning some new words, of course.
I’ve been working on feed myself. I’m learning to use a spoon and fork more and hands less. Sometimes they even get a little daring a let me use a real bowl. That’s probably because I haven’t broken one yet.
I tried drinking water from a regular bottle. This is pretty new (I like to play with them more than anything else), so I made a little bit of a mess, but most of it does end up in my mouth. I managed to get the cap back on too.
In my free time, I try things like finger painting. Okay, I have to admit I’ve only done this one once and it didn’t end well. I got very, very mad at Mommy because she wouldn’t let me eat all the paint. The nerve of her! I think it’s going to be back to crayons for a while.
So there you have it, some of my activities on this holiday weekend. Turns out the library is closed today so we didn’t get to go up there and check things out. I haven’t really been out in the snow much lately either; it’s been way too cold. It can also be hard for me to get around too… I guess that’s about it for now. I’ll keep you guys updated if anything else interesting happens.
