This past Tuesday, for the second time now, I’ve gone to the library up the road for Mother Goose & Me story time. Even though the name is a bit vague, it’s a story and activity hour for kid in my age range (under two years old in this case). Each of the two times I’ve gone so far, there have been three or four people there, each with their own handlers. The presenter takes turns between reading us some story books, doing sing-a-long type songs, some directed play and finally some free play time at the end. All of the other kids have been pretty nice so far, even when I try taking their things. (I did feel bad about that, by the way, and tried to make up for it the next time by sharing my toys.) I don’t always like to do that activities, but I sure have a good time watching everybody else who’s playing along. So, to sum it up, it’s a good time and you should come by if you fall into the age group.
