This is a bit of a heads up to others who have the opportunity to transport the kid in their cars…
Just the other day I heard a click, click noise coming from the back seat. I knew this was a familiar sound, but just couldn’t place it. Then, all of a sudden, it hit me. That’s the door lock! Sure enough, a certain somebody had figured out how to work the door lock now that he’s big enough to reach it. In fact, just as I was about to pull him out of the car at our destination, he locked the door on me!
Knowing now that he can reach the locking mechanism, it’ll only be a short matter of time before he can reach the couple extra inches to get the door handle. Since no kid can resist pushing a button, twisting a knob or pulling a lever, the child lock has been turned on, at least for the door that’s he’s next to. Fortunately the location of the power window switch is such that it’ll be quite a time before he can reach that one.
You’ve been warned.
Bet he used his “no,no” pointer finger for the lockout
